The concept of lottery is fine. It just has to be much faster - like 24h lottery and 24h to claim the plot to speed things up. Also let homeless players bid on multiple plots to improve their odds through gil farming.

Keep the lottery, the only way pressing one would be like if you are going to RMT on it!!

Also, reason for keep the lottery is: 1. Everyone got a fair chance, 2. people are not going to feel forced for clicking 48 hours in a row, 3. it reduces the use of 3rd Party botting, 4. it and with current system reduces RMT and real estate businesses.

I'd rather have housing gutted entirely & reimplemented into instances & remove neighborhoods- so option 3 if there was one
I do like that we don't have to stand & click- it's a 1 & done step deal BUT The ward division is awful.

The lottery is better than having to fight a click bot with the old system- truthfully though, the new system isn't much better at the moment, especially considering how the wards were divided into mostly FC wards & any private house that moves in the 1st 20-something wards is now an FC designated plot. Who thought that was a good idea? It's so stupid that it begs the question if the devs have ever participated in housing in any degree. Further proof they have not is the horrible house decorating system.

If there isn't a complete overhaul, I want them to add more private wards & add house demolition back asap.
Apartments are glorified FC rooms- but they have the exact same strict limitations! only 1 is 500k & the other is 300k. Can you guess which?
PS: I have a house- but there is such a huge demand for PERSONAL housing (not FC housing- that's why so many FC wards are still empty bc that's not where the demand is), I want housing resolved for everyone & made fair & fun.

1. I dont like the lottery. The old system just needed some changes to prevent flipping plots 'too' easily, but I think players should still be able and allowed to sell them. Make a system where housing owners have a deed to the plot as an item, but the item becomes tradeable after like 6 months of ownership. That would heavily discourage quick flips.

LMAO brother, that's just silly. But, I get it. You weren't really in search of the truth. You were in search of support. Those are two completely different things.

Anyway, this thread is ridiculously ironic, because the truth is what you got, anyway. Despite the attempt at forcing bias, at the time of my post the vote stands at 3 in support of lottery removal, and 15 in favor of keeping it.

Sometimes backfires are pretty interesting to watch.

2 at least it beats staying up all night and clicking a pole while someone who's using a bot program can enjoy a nights rest with their PC still on but at this point they might as well try for an instanced set up cause things aren't improving.
