While I enjoyed creating my character set ups more in vanilla XIV, I enjoy actually playing my character more in post Yoshida XIV. To be fair, I haven't maged as much as I have melee'd so that could be why as well.

agreed. i also see you list lnc as your main so that also helps explain why it is more fun for you now as well. when i went class by class comparisons i posted i enjoyed lcn and mrd more now as well. the changes to those 2 classes have made them much more viable and more fun to me.

I realize that protect does both, but that's really stupid, imo. If he would make the buffs last 30 minutes (like they did in XI), and he made stuff like Defender that lasts "forever" until negated by "Berserk" or recasting, etc....then things wouldn't have been so "convoluted," as you put it. You wouldn't have a problem with so many actions, b/c you'd rarely use them.

I'm still loling at everyone saying how diverse thm, was before reform all i did was spam Sac III THM was a heal bot. All those debuffs spells was ass except poison and THM couldn't even dmg Ifrit before they fixed it >_> 20 DMG Banishes.

then you were a trash thm. i was usually on par with lnc as a thm on the dps list as well as being the off healer. if all you did as a thm was spam sac 3 then it's just further proof you were horrid at the class.

That's bullshit THM dmg on ifrit was ass No point in lying. Banish and scourge sucked period. I dont know what ass backwards world you was living in where doing 20-50 dmg banish was out dpsing 500 dmg + ws... LNC AA prolly did more dmg at that time.

why don't you go back and look at the conversation? i wasn't the one claiming i was spamming sac III. that was firon. what i said was that i off healed during ifrit and used dot's which is the truth. yes, sac III was gone when ifrit was introduced, but it didn't take much to keep up buffs and throw a regular cure to keep the lancers topped off either. when the dot damage is enough to keep the regen from adding health and keeping the lancers buffed and topped off that made a thm more useful in that fight as an off healer than the cnj was.
