Will Aliasaie and Alphinaud ever get new hairstyles?

I don't know, but I will say, I can't wait for them to grow up. I know there's a lot of Alphie and Ali fans that like that they are kinda like our little siblings, but I would love to see them grow up and have their body match their mental maturity. Bonus points if they start differentiating themselves from one another even further.

Without giving out too much spoilers, there is a part towards the end of the Shadowbringer patches (either 5.4 or 5.5) where Urianger comments to another character that he was about the twins' age when he had his final growth spurt (apparently it is an Elezen thing that happens at about 19 - 20 years of age). He said he grew up from their height to his current height in a single summer.

I think we may just get a "timeskip" in a patch soon where the twins aren't seen for a while and come back at full height. I am betting they will no longer be as similar-looking either.

in JRPGs recognizability is stored in the hair, so whenever they come up with an iconic hairstyle for both... Or never.

I do feel like at least one of them should get a hairstyle change. I think Alisaie would look good with short hair. Alphinaud seems less likely to change.

I feel like there was a missed opportunity to experiment in Shadowbringers, given that their bodies were temporary copies of their real selves. They could try a different appearance and then reset it in 5.3 if it wasn't received well by the fans.
