I wasn't aware that recycling old content and pretending its new development was a "painstaking procedure". With all the consistent hype about the release of Final Fantasy XIV 2.0, the least Square Enix could do is give the players some actual new development content. It is both disappointing and ostentatious of Square Enix to release the same concept art that came with the Collector's Edition as the 'new exiting 2.0 content'. While it might not be implemented in the game currently, It is something many of us have seen before. It only took someone 5 minutes to recognize the artwork...

Edit: Square Enix has now changed their front page so it does not say "all new" anymore. Thankyou for clearing that up ^^

The real question is....that Coeurl on the left page...did you draw that? or is it a hidden picture only seeable when taken a picture! > I don't remember a Coeurl in the book lol

The mob is not in the game yet true! so he will be new to the game ..but they are claiming they have "ALL-NEW concept art" the art is old...so is the concept...

I am sure people were expecting some new art work that was never released to the public by Square. :O

I think the "reborn" translation is closer to the truth. So it's "reborn concept art", rather than "new concept art."

Doesn't matter, if it is old art, then it is old.
