Yes I have responded to some posts & clearly the mistake I see is non endless petitions for Kaiten. On another note I am bored as well.

You chose to react & respond to my messages when clearly you could’ve chosen not to.

If “likes” measures your status then technically its just an allusion to feel that impulse of taste that hits your brain like Facebook, so no clearly I don’t really care.

Anyway! Why are you all still persistent…?

It does highlight an issue though. When 1 button can essentially break a job in the eyes of so many players says a lot for the state of the game as a whole.

I mained samurai for 2 expansions 4.0 and 5.0 and was honestly never a massive fan of kaiten. When your using it on every single iajutsu cast then what is it really doing? Nothing it's just arbitrary press to do "normal" damage button.

You could argue its an "increased" damage button but really when your using it on every ianutsu it becomes just "normal" damage. Not fun not impressive.

I agree that it's killed the kenki gauge but that gauge always felt tacked on anyway. Same way so many job guages just feel tacked on.. you could scrap kenki gauge entirely and just put shinten on a cooldown done.

Same goes for pld. Scrap the oath gauge entirely and just bull shelltron on a cooldown...

Sch gauge the same. Brd, ninja, etc etc..

But when 1 button can break a job and the game for many players so much it highlights a much bigger problem with the game..

You could play Samurai without Kaiten. It feels awful, but it works.
In the same vein, you could play as a Marauder, Conjurer, or Pugilist. It feels awful, but it works. You'll clear the content, so who cares, am I right?

It DOES feel awful. And this is coming from a trash SAM. I feel like if I'm not doing shinten spam, im just standing there waiting for GCDs most of the time (and shinten spam looks stupid.) I feel like I'm not playing a lvl 90 job but a lvl 60 or 70 job at this point. The main reason why I picked up SAM was for the Kaiten animation. I thought it was one of the coolest animations in the game. Now, I'm in search of a replacement job. I've been trying monk just because it shared gear with SAM (and I didn't have to regear) but after spending the past 1-2 weeks with it and getting used to the rotation, I feel like I'm on the search again as I'm not completely satisfied.

Seriously hoping they revert the changes. Right now I feel like SAM is walking the path of SMN. Which is not good.

Just one button though….it didn’t butcher the entirety of its job except what you’ve deemed it to be.

I can only agree that certain jobs needs to be reworked & improvised, and that will ultimately come at the cost of removing some abilities the devs took the decision to have it removed.

It just most of you refuses to process past that point.

It is no longer in here, it may never return, and if it does so be it.

Just for crying out loud look at the repetitive posts that majority of these individuals are far resistant to go through the changes,

I beg to differ but SAM feels alright the way it is, no further logic needed & I applaud for going through with the change.

I do agree the job does need to be inprovise as every other job & this takes time through trial & error.

Please remain steady & thank you devs for going through this.

Maybe it's good that people like you waste their time on forums and not in the game

my question is. how long have you been playing sam?

Since early Feb & occasionally I bounce back n’ forth,

That shouldn’t quantify my experience overall with the understanding of thr job that I proudly still play regardless of the changes.

Yes it took me off guard & but also delight on the fact that it was neccesary due to the over accumulation of skills we have as others job still has.

I am very pragmatic & the less buttons and/or skills merged the better.

Apparently that’s what triggered & reacted most SAM players (advocates for Kaiten) to labelled me as “trolling/incompetent with the job” when in truth I’ve just express a certain disagreement that I just am not in their spectrum, let alone with endless posts as though they believe by sheer #s of pressure would convince for the changes to return.

A mind set that sadly most western players carries & show uttern contempt with change.

PS: Before you ask, yes I am also Western.
