    OP says, "We should be kinder to each other!" and not a single person responds with support for that idea. Everyone focuses on the housing issue and the way we treat each other be damned.

    Is it any surprise that the world is the way it is right now? Many (most?) people only care about how they feel in their head, and the issues they have in life. Everyone else can just jump off a cliff, for all they care.
