Maybe I am the only one with this issue but I ignore all the rmts that I see in the city and my BL is full....We need a bigger one

I can't wait to watch your ego bleed
Your pain will set me free
you can usualy remove them from your blacklist after like... a day or two
Despite what people claim about SE and not taking actions about reports... RMT reports ARE handeld INCREDIBLE Fast... i speak of personal experience.. my account got compromised, logged in, send to limsa, and banned there for RMT activity within litteraly all of 4 minutes.. PROBABLY faster
Ahh ty ty I knew they handled them quick I didn't think about unlisting them for some reason thanks Zeryou can usualy remove them from your blacklist after like... a day or two

But it would be nice if a RMT report could "mute" the text messages of that player.
Maybe just for 6 hours, so that a accidently report of someone else does not effect someone long therm.
And after 6 hours the RMT bot should be taken care of.
By having this we don't have to worry about more spam of them and it does not fill someone's blacklist.
I used to block rmt adds now i just report them. In my case though I spend most of my non in duty game time in a housing district which is free from those.
Related to this they need to add a delete all or at the least add a way of deleting more than one from a BL at a time.

I like this idea a lot! It would go a long way. Perhaps the ability to put people on mute would be helpful too. Would encourage alternative ways to solve conflict. But it would be nice if a RMT report could "mute" the text messages of that player.

Bump, though my reasoning for wanting a larger blacklist is less for the rmt spam than the constant fc/venue spam.
I don't seem to have this much problem with RMTs as others. But maybe it's because I rarely set foot in either of the 3 original cities where most RMTs seems to hang out.
Imo RMT should be a separate list. Blacklist and RMT are not always mutually exclusive but in some cases they are. If I want to blist someone its because I don't want to associate with that player. RMT is just more for clearing up PF and not seeing their spam chat. Though they really should have multiple STF's in each of the major regions (JP, NA, EU, OC) and increase staff by a few more to compensate for the increasing volume of players that FFXIV.But it would be nice if a RMT report could "mute" the text messages of that player.

Having an adequate blacklist comparable to WoW is beyond SE developers capabilities.
