I don't think the Endwalker town music fits Thavnair.

Hear me out, but I don't feel like it fits. Maybe during the Endwalker story, but with Thavnair being as colorful and vibrant as it is, I think it should get a new town theme. At the very least it could be a remixed version that sounds more Indian/Sri Linkan. It kind of ruins the atmosphere of the town for me. IT IS however a beautiful theme, and I strongly like it in Garlmald where I think it fits more in the ruined atmosphere.

The theme they teased back in fanfest was way WAY better, but they decided last minute to erase all of the song of hope she dances on the wind motifs for some reason and I really don't get it. Like they straight up memoryholed that melody, aside from a quick insert in Sharlayan's theme, in favor of the Flow melody which is objectively worse and, in my opinion, a shoddy attempt at reinventing the emotional impact of Tomorrow and Tomorrow.

Flow is just really weird lyrically to me. The whole potency of Tomorrow and Tomorrow is its lyrics; Flow makes no sense to be directed at us because it's speaking to a soul who has died.

Close in the Distance hits far closer to Tomorrow's emotional mark for me.
