I still hate that FFLog is opt out, it should be, LIKE ANY SYSTEM, be OPT IN, you should NOT need to take extra steps for your data(and yes, your character and youir performance IS personal data)
and people who try to justify it as "oh, but FFlog would be worthless if it was only opt in" worthless.... because? you can no longer see someone elses performance and judge them on it? without that person even knowing their data is up there? The "data" (aka the party etc) is still there, it would just be obfuscated with no name/character attached to it


or my favorit "i kick anyone who has their Logs hidden when they join my Farm group so making it opt in is stupid" so? what would change for you then if its opt in, if its opt in, everyone else is hidden, kick them then, maybe then you realize how stupid that argument is.




OPT IN SHOULD BE THE STANDARD FOR ANYTHING NOT OPT OUT
