Ability Mapping

After playing TERA and being able to map Auto Run and getting on my mount (and so on) to mouse buttons, then coming back to mess with XIV a little bit since I still have an active subscription... figured I'd leave a small suggestion that might make things a little nicer.

Please allow the ability to map game functions to extra mouse buttons. I'd sure love to be able to mount up just by hitting the 'browser back' button on my mouse especially considering that while the game's in focus, it doesn't really have any other use.

You bet it did. Even after realizing I could not mount up this way, I still kept trying to... must be withdrawal.

It did the same to me, and I didn't even really enjoy the game. Something about getting used to a new set of keys. I will say that I'd love for all our DDs to have an "Oh crap bail" move like Tera has though. The ability to quickly put distance between me and the enemy is really nice to have.

Are you able to map keystrokes to your mouse? If so, you can map the letter C to it. Then in-game, go to Keyboard controls and add 'C' as the button for mount.
