    This remains true because a Game that doesn't encourage players to become better? does just that vs the opposite of encouraging players to be better by rewarding them for improving, usually in increased performance of any kind. It's just common sense. You lack statistics that you demand of others to proof points, yet we do not need it. We know what happens when people are encouraged to be as lazy as they can be, specially when environments supports that mentality, game or no game. The Irony? is that EW's story is about making mankind overcome adversity to make them resilient to any future hardships. Having players request optional depth with Job nuances and complexity, does not affect your ability to clear casual content as it lacks any difficulty. Meaning?

    Optional Job depth means Optional. You can continue mastering nothing and not do Raiding that we are not forcing anyone into either with increased optional Job difficulty. If you want your floor-licking dead body be dragged by Duty Support NPC's through the finish lines? Power to you. But having an environment where everything that is made of pillows be made even more comfier? does nothing to improve the games gameplay, because it conditions players to find everything to difficult, to which they will complain on the forums up to over 2000+ posts on making the cakewalk content even more boringly easier.

    This is your final stance... Nothing in your posts states anything about what you hope to see in 7.0 to improve gameplay. Optional Job depth is not forcing players to Raid btw... You clearly want to defend a billion dollar ( indie ) company's revenue... thinking that will make Square create content for you. As you believe players requesting optional Job complexity/nuances is going to cut in the budget ( lol? ) of Square's wallets standing in the way of content being created? Look if that's the hill you want to /playdead on, then yes as you put it " do what suits you indeed " xD

    -Character creator additions QoL updates. (Add new face options).
    -More diffcult content to ramp players up to Savage & Ultimate.
    -Healer rework (pipe dream).
    -Instanced housing (the ward system is obviously failing).
    -Add nails as an accessory option instead of taking up a gear slot for glam.

    In agreement with a few posters here: We need more midcore content, or at least several levels of content to make the ladder climb from bottom to top more sensible.
    Is it good for the MSQ to be very simple? Yeah, sure. I get that. Make that your baseline content level.
    Is it good to have Savages and Extremes for more difficult content and high-end players? Yes, those are the people who stay subscribed more consistently, you want them playing your game.

    Is it good to have this solid fucking cliff-wall between these two elevations of content design with absolutely nothing in the middle?

    No.

    Mostly I want 1. No more two minute burst meta and every job reworked accordingly, and 2. Good story that was as compelling as ARR -> SHB, since EW has fallen completely flat especially post-patches.

    As far as 7.0,

    Send us to a new zone, not as an overpowered god, or as the savior of the universe, but as a simple adventurer. Send us to Dalmasca, Meracydia, Corvos, "The new world." Replace the scions with the Students of Baldesion, and a new cast of characters.

    Mid expansion 7.XX patches need to have more content, if they're going to use the excuse it takes longer to produce content. 6.2 - 6.4 (8 months.) saw little new coming to us, since 6.3 was a massive let down. This forced a lot of people to take a break from the game, and it damaged a lot of FC's, and communities overall. Telling us to go play Zelda is not an excuse as to why you can't give people an incentive to log in between mid expansion patches. It's not that hard to implement a real relic grind, in combination with the Island sancturay, and Critereon dungeons. It would be more rewarding then the welfare relic system we have.

    Make healers matter. Give them more DPS abilities, make their classes more enjoyable to play. Give their job identity back. You shouldn't be able to clear ultimates without a single healer, and telling healers to go play ultimates for engaging content was insulting to say the least. Healers deserve an apology from Yoshi P. Give all max level healers the "Throw Rotten Tomato" emote.

    More unique armor sets, less re-colors of existing sets. Healers sets don't need to ALWAYS have a skirt. While on the topic, remove class restrictions from glamours.

    Account wide glamour, mounts, and housing. Theres no reason for them to be seperated, except to cash grab from people.

    Instanced player housing, if not in the island, perhaps an instanced zone based on the currently existing housing wards. I don't see why any nation wouldn't want the WoL to be living within their borders considering all they've done. Allow people to construct a cottage/house/mansion on it. Obviously, they will not be able to function like the wards do for venues, or inviting people who you don't know, and the housing wards will not be replaced by this.

    Massive PvP overhaul of the rewards, ranking, and matchmaking system. Introduce a mode for people to queue premade teams against each other. Perhaps an arena mode, and offer more incentives for people to PvP in general. Bump crystal cap to 50,000 crystals. Add rewards worth 50,000 crystals, or 20,000 crystals that are worth grinding PvP for. Armor sets, Mounts, Hairstyles, Emotes, portraits. Currently there is no reason to spend crystals on anything, and I don't know anybody who would spend a single crystal on the latest recolor additions to the store. Series XP rewards are not enough of an incentive to keep people grinding, especially when the gear/mounts are not attractive enough. Add previous series rewards to the crystal store. Rival wings needs a roulette, and Astragalos needs to be restored. Front lines needs maps what don't blantatly encourage PvE, and lets people avoid PvP. *cough cough*

    I would love some sort of Garlemald Restoration. Garlemald is basically in ruins right now and its citizens deserve to get some help. We rushed through the story there way too fast in Endwalker.
