    There is a lot of great info in this thread, I find it interesting that a WAR tank with superior enmity gear was having serious issues tanking mistress on PLD vs WAR. I have 181enmity on my set (missing DL body) and on war I needed to pop a mad pot to keep hate from MNK's. Our best MNK's have hit 165dps and usually mistress dies before the 2min. marker where it first moves.

    One thing this thread has stated in almost every other post is the whole "you can take 1 whm" idea, I don't know why groups are taking 2 whm's? What does the 2nd whm do in fights nuke? 1 whm is way more then enough to keep up the party especially with regens and SS. Worst case I can see is you have a crappy WHM and a 2nd BRD has to pop a few aoe SS's in the mix to help out. Just curious.

    I like the figure that PLD takes 3.5x less dmg then WAR. I'll have to run some AV/CC on PLD and look at the overall dmg taken on each of the fights, the whole aoe is slower on PLD main tank is garbage with 5blm's in a group you already have WAY more then enough DPS to burn down the groups of mobs in seconds, my only issue is the loss of collusion for flare spots to keep 100% hate on large groups of adds easily.

    I'm guessing, and in my own case I know, that not all of us have near full or full DL gear, not all of us have all trip meld gear, and for many that didn't stick around from launch (~75 in my LS) don't have all the "EG" content cleared, let alone mastered, hell only 4/5 people in my shell have all the DoW/M classes capped, and I can't think of any that actually have all classes @50. Those things considered 2 WHMs are often more useful then another DD, as the kinks are worked out and people get more accustomed to the runs, and of course gear gets better, that second WHM might become unnecessary, but for now some of us still need that little extra protection.

    It depends on the fight, really. For Garuda, my LS takes one whm, but for CC we take 2. We take two WHMs for ifrit, but in my little experience with it, it seems like we could take 1 whm for AV after that whm has had enough experience in there.

    Regarding 2 WHM, it's mostly for safety precaution, you can't assume everyone is great at their classes and you will be running with the best everyday. Better to be safe sometimes

    Then, the loss of collusion sucks but does it really matter anyway? since 4-5 BLM is enough to burn anything down. Flash and Wardrum does just the same purpose to get you initinial hate which the only thing that matters so the BLMs doesn't get interrupted.
