    Wild Ewe

While running around Bloodshore today, I noticed something I hadn't seen before: A ram monster named "Wild Ewe". I saw three of them in total. From what I've read, it seems they used to roam all over Bloodshore, but now people think they've been removed from the game... and with good reason.

After killing them, I noticed they didn't seem to respawn. This didn't concern me by itself: I know of a number of other places where mobs share placeholders: One quite visible example is the streams near Camp Tranquil, where one of the two crabs will share a placeholder with an angler. Still, after killing mobs in the areas where I'd seen rams for the better part of an hour, I still hadn't seen it again. It would seem they're quite rare indeed.

So, has anyone else seen this monster? Or have any idea why it's so rare?

Hm this is just going to be my guess but perhaps guild leves were meant to influence the ecosystem of a zone/area based on which ones you did. So when people do certain leves it may cause certain mobs to appear in said zone for a while, and then disappear after a set amount of time has passed.

Or they just have it set to a random variable that certain mobs appear at certain times since in a place like camp nine ives, at times they have eft in the open world and other times they are none to be seen. So ya it's just one of the quirky things in the game that might be tough to notice at first lol.

    This.

The only way to dependably get fleece+1 right now is a 44 Learherworker synth that's considered "dated." I hope they either add more Wild Ewe spawns or retain that recipe.

They have to be the "Wild" ones to drop fleece. The others only drop sheepskin.

I have never seen them near beared rock but I have seen them near Skull valley and Oschon's Torch but
in the same numbers of 3-4 and not re-popping. seems like thay are a wandering type of spawn.

I always thought they should have done another redistrubtion of mobs for framing purposes. there is just a
large area of land that nobody uses because of the over-leveled mobs in this game infest those areas. I know
it cheapens the travel portion of achivments. But really there's going to be all new ones for that in 2.0 with us
having to uncover maps anyway. so why not just open those area's up to us. I know there are a few area's
I have run into that are truly unquie compair to the rest of the maps there hardly anybody has seen because
of the way they are guard by mobs that can one shot everybody.
