I've been having high ping to the server

So for a month now i've been having like 280 ping to EU servers when i should be having like 160-180. I contacted my isp first and they said it was nothing on their end and then i contacted SE and now they say its nothing on their end and its on the ISP's end. Like who is right and who is wrong and how do i fix my ping

You can try to use the tracert command in windows (for example tracert 195.82.50.47 what should be the Louisoix server ip)
What would look like this for Louisoix:

Your problem is probably the server with the ip 195.82.50.230 what is part of KDDI Deutschland (probably the server host for the FFXIV EU servers)
I tried to tracert every EU server and its always the 195.82.50.230 server where the ping can reach over 1500 ms...
Maybe it will be fixed with the next maintenance (on 16 May for EU) or not at all but the problem lies with KDDI Deutschland.

yea looking at tracert the ping jumps to 300 along the routing having my isp look into it even tho they claim nothing is wrong with it

Personally been trying to fix this or get attention to this for over a month and a half now. I've tried all I can think off but hope it goes well for anyone else trying to get playable conditions again. Might come back to the game if anyone manages to do it.
