Can I have some of these Crystal Towers? Or, like, anything not Paradigm's Breach? I've had eleven days of Paradigm's Breach. I think I'm forgetting half of the mechanics in the Ivalice raids, it's been so long.
My alt had every Alliance Raid series unlocked except CT. Her roulettes were perfect. Now that I had to unlock it for her to progress the MSQ I find myself doing that roulette far less.
Let us PLEASE have a simple blacklist. You already have people stripping gear off to not do anything but CT, and everyone else should have the same option to opt out of that series.
Yeah, that's what a friend and I did. We were testing if we can avoid CT and unlock the other alliance raids but we hit that CT mandatory wall sobsMy alt had every Alliance Raid series unlocked except CT. Her roulettes were perfect. CT Series is the only alliance raid hard required for MSQ, the others are entirely optional. As in, it won't let you progress the MSQ into Heavensward until you do them. But anyway they just need to lower the ilvl syncs to make them not braindead, problem solved.
Blacklisting makes no sense tho, you are basically there and getting rewards for doing old outdated content. A blacklist would defeat that purpose of roulette, with a blacklist you can remove roulette entirely anyways. Roulette is for most players not about "fun" but about getting the cramped up rewards for stuff they probably don't want to do, like CT. Or Aurum Vale...<shivers>My alt had every Alliance Raid series unlocked except CT. Her roulettes were perfect. You could allow me to blacklist only 2 of the raids and I'd find it worth. Hell even 1 would suffice in the grand scheme for me: bye bye Sycrus Tower may you rot in the seventh pit. At least LotA and WoD have the possibility of a wipe.Blacklisting makes no sense tho, you are basically there and getting rewards for doing old outdated content. I'm tired of being told to wait for post-patches and expansions for fixes and increased healing requirements that are never coming. Healers are not fun in all forms of content like all jobs should be, they're replaced by tanks and dps due to low healing requirements and their dps kit is small for 0 reason, when in the past we had more options and handled things just fine. I refuse to play healer in roulette come DT. I refuse to heal EXs, I refuse to go into Savage, and I am boycotting Ultimate.

Separating CT raid from AR pool will probably just force people to cheese it to get into Void Ark.
Yeah, no. Nerf the CT raid reward and buff the others. The 2 from 3 former raid series takes less than 15m to clear but still give the same reward while the other series can easily eat more than 20m. They were able to scale the reward somewhat in the old MSR. They should be able to do something similar to AR as well.
While it is definitely abused there are also sometimes new players in there.
