Regarding the lottery issue, update 6

As one of the winners of the first and only lottery, I want to make clear that I'm not okay with the last decision made regarding this. I can understand some kind of compensation for those that were affected for the lottery issue, but the measure isn't really a compensation, because you put now an npc to pay the house "if you want". What that means is, you give a free house to ppl and you can't even call it "compensation", cause there is an npc to pay it. I don't enter on the discussion about if it's unfair or not, my point is, this meassure is a mess. It's only purpose is to split the community and make them comfront each other. This measure is only a lazy measure that will cause more problems than there is already. My suggestions are: 1.- give a compensation to everybody affected by the lottery, making them pay only the half of the prize for the house. 2.- reset the lottery and make them go through the entire proccess again 3.- refound the money spent to everybody, since those who won the house are not responsible for this issue and they shouldn't be treated as fools that pay for the house it's entire value.

Issue with this a lot of the on going posts seem to just shut down opinions like this. I too won in the first round and feel the same way.
I am glad that everyone who got a 0 is getting their home, but I am not in favor of it being free, no matter if there was a wait time.
It makes those of us who didn't get affected feel duped. Yes we weren't affected and didn't have to wait, but we also had no choice in the matter, our choice was to accept, or decline and lose half the coin. No full refunds or anything. I know a few others afraid to speak out who also feel very much the same way. All need to pay, or none. All get refunded or none. Keep it equal.
I would even be willing to see them charge a devalued plot price if they REALLY felt the need to do some sort of apology, but Free, isn't fair for those who paid, and those who will have to pay in the future.

I look forward to see if they release numbers on who actually paid back the amount or not.

I understand there's other posts, but unpopular opinions definitely do tend to get drowned out, i can't blame this fellow for going out of his way to make an extra. Even if it is likely pointless.

Hi, I paid full price for both my personal house and my FC's house. I do not care that people who got the 0 bug get a free house after waiting a month for SE to fix the issue.

In a year none of this will matter and the pearl clutching over it will be for nothing.

For most players, gil was not the deciding factor on whether they get a house (lottery or pre-lottery). It was availability and luck. Luck from being the lucky placard spammer or luck being the winning lottery ticket.

Some might get a free house. Not many players put down 50M of the 51M gil to buy a house. It will make no difference to them whatsoever.

Peoples who end up getting their house free will most probably end up spending that money on furniture anyway and the gil will be spent, so who care.
