Lost Ark has three CMs constantly replying to forum threads and address concerns

I am always baffled by how absent the CMs are. What do they even do? Delete a few posts a day? No way they compile feedback and give it to the developers. Not only that, but they also have a whack set of rules to moderate here on the forums.

People exaggerate over the in-game moderation minefield, but for the forums it's absolutely true. I have been banned twice (...)

Got unlucky, like I did. Back then, the forums were A LOT more moderated, it seems. People got bans for, what I'd consider, pretty minor stuff all the time back then. If they were still enforcing the forum guidelines like they used to, a lot of what goes on now, wouldn't last long.

Who knows. The last time I saw a CM interact with a thread was the one about Hrothgar hairstyles. Everything else has been pretty much ignored.

I have been banned twice - once for calling someone who was openly admitting he stalks and harasses women in the game a "creep" (horrific I know. how could I dare hurt his feelings), and the other for Ottergate.
Yes, I know there is rules against "insults" (again, the tragedy I'm sure the stalker was so sad) and derailing a thread, but just the other day someone posted graphic porn and all they got was their post deleted. Every day each thread devolves into personal attacks and derails completely. Hello?

They do nothing you would assume their job title entails. This considering the fact moderation in the game is behind in all aspects. Outside of banning people for kicking due to gameplay differences.

This is something I would also agree with. More often than not, what is perceived as a do-nothing job gets assigned administrative or laborious type of tasks. Shit sucks, I can tell you that much lol. This is especially true if they're being told to actively not engage with the community at a given time. It's pretty easy to fall into the void of continuing that course after you're given the all clear. Being a mod sucks. I hope people can widely agree with that.

I would too! I'm still looking forward to it, and maybe, one day, perhaps, we'll see that here with some consistency instead of just getting a semblance of it every time they shit the bed.

Yup, when I posted my feedback when I decided to uninstall it (since that's what the devs were asking for)

Basically talked about how the PF enables some really toxic behaviours that go completely unpunished unless someone does a mass report.

Their answer "Please don't leave, we are aware of issues and we are going to put tools in, but these bad experiences aren't something everyone is having so take heart in that! It could just be the server you rolled on!"
