    The wording in that is vague at best, and that's the problem. If I were to take everything I've been hearing from both sides adequately, that would mean they made the base crit rate/damage weaker, but the gear more effective. But I would like to have confirmation of that theory, and sadly I have no parses of my own to compare against pre-patch. So even if I were to start researching myself, I'd have no basis to work from.

    Absolutely, without testing crit rate/dmg before and after the hotfix, we're splitting hairs based on wording.
