FFXIV x NieR Reincarnation Crossover

Seeing as NieR Reincarnation is getting an FFXIV crossover event I think it's appropriate that we also got some more NieR goodies (namely glam). Be it as a crossover event with Reincarnation or simply MogStation items. A lot of FFXIV players are either NieR fans (such as myself) or at the very least they like the glam we got with the NieR raids in Shadowbringers. Reincarnation has some amazing costume and weapon designs which would actually fit extremely well with FFXIV's jobs.

I'm thinking maybe something similar to the Garo collab event which adds an outfit and weapon for every job or, again, simply added to the MogStation as separate packs for each job. Exactly how it would be implemented is up to the devs of course and I personally don't mind either way. I just know that I and many others would pay quite a lot to have some of these in the game one way or another.

I'd say that both games will gain a lot from having crossovers with each other and I am certain that if some of these made it to the MogStation they would sell like hot cakes.

Regarding weapons there is also this older concept art which I believe is fan-made, however I think it could still be referenced for some exceptionally good weapon designs. These are based on NieR: Automata but its all in a similar vein.

As a GNB main I would kill to have that PLD sword as a Gunblade in FFXIV, for example.

After 3 raids, a bonus questline, a mount, and 2 hairstyles, I've had enough nier commercials in xiv for a bit and would rather have new series to collab with.

Lots of people in this thread make no difference between Nier Automata and Nier Reincarnation. Their aesthetics are in fact, quite different. Not only that, but nobody said it has to be an alliance raid - it would work perfectly as a Garo styled collab.

1 whole alliance series + the rest was too much for a collab... but i don't make the rules

So let's not have more good glam just because it says NieR on it. And yes, we'd be fine with it being on the MogStation.

You wouldn't guess that those glams/weapons were from Nier unless you were told so...
