Obligitory Pronouns Request

My question is, "why is it badly needed?"
Why do you think it is worth to use up the developers limited time to add something that would hold almost nothing in the long scheme of things? +10 years worth of dialogue is a lot of time and effort just to put in something that only a small minority would use and to what end? Just to let other people that don't care know that you are a He/She/They/Zey/Fi/Fo/Fum/Glorbazorp?

No offense but I'd prefer they put their effort into improving the game and adding new content even though they add very little content to do already.

At most I could see adding them/they but all the "neo pronouns"? No. Xim Xer Xem is just as ridiculous as Latinx. We don't need that amount of work put in for the whopping 10 ppl who would use it seriously. As part of the LGBTQ+ community myself, even the majority of us roll our eyes at all that.

My two cents on the matter, it's a fantasy setting so everyone can be born in the body they feel most comfortable so they don't have anyone who goes by any pronouns that they don't have just off appearance.

Considering Viera and Hrothgar are treated like an afterthought by the devs and have been for almost 3 years now, I highly doubt pronouns are even being considered as a feature. It's a non issue for them and it won't be something they even consider unless there's a large outcry for it. Yoshi-P was shocked that the hrothgar players didn't like having their ears chopped off for new hairstyles and it probably won't even have a fix for another 3 years due to them focusing on what's deemed important rather than their playerbase's personal wants.

i dont care if other players can see my pronouns. I want the npcs to use my pronouns in dialogue as if we had, at some point, had a discussion about my pronouns and everyone has decided to be a respectful person and acknowledge that.

Why in this world setting would any npc feel they need to know? Or to have a discussion? We are here to save the world with the help of friends. Outside the maincast and some side character most have no personal connection with us. Just that guy/gal saving the day.

Actual Trans people want to BE their identified gender. Not looking like a dude and be called she. So in a videogame where you can be what you want, you can be a guy or gal. You don't need be one and have people call you the other.
