Change loot system in Aglaia

Bump. I don't farm for RNG glamour drops, but I can understand why some people do it. Definitely shouldn't be so hard. Alliance raid gear is already pretty useless when you can get equivalent or better gear from tomestones, crafting, or savage. So there's no reason it should be so hard to get what you want. Like, do the devs actually want people to use it or not?

Well you could just upgrade crafting gear to the same ilvl as the gear that drops from Aglaia (this is what I do). The one piece of gear is just a neat bonus for me to not have to worry about purchasing bottles of rain. It makes very little difference to me personally if I get gear or not. I'm really just there for the coin (and a chance of getting the loot at the end).

The item drop and coin are certainly an attractive element for me, but I also love the fight against Nald'thal with 'In the Balance' playing!

Erm...You get a coin when you finish the alliance raid that functions similar to the books.

They don't do the same thing at all. Savage tokens are a secondary way of acquiring the specific gear pieces that drop from the savage raid. Alliance coins are only for upgrading an unrelated piece of gear.

Doesn't work with the Healer Chest sadly, since both crafted and tome have a large chunk of Piety, making them inferior even to the 580 Normal raid chest. The Aglaia healer chest is the second best in the game after the P4S chest.

This Raid is already so boring, every damn week over and over again for the last piece. I have never seen those Panthean Sollerets of Maiming. All I see is Dancer, Samurai and Ninja Gear. I swear, right after I got my last piece, i will never ever do this crap Raid again, even not for the Story.

5 Raids later .... just Dancer, Samurai and Sage Gear. Thx SE for this shit Raid and the frustation that comes with it. 6 Weeks, countless Raids and still not the last Piece.

doesn't work when the substats are butt. enough of the crafted gear has spell speed that RDM can't use it.

I've been running Aglaia since its inception and have seen all of ONE Caster chest piece (of which I lost the roll).

I run sometimes as much as 10-12 runs on weekends and haven't seen a single caster piece at all the last fortnight.

Extremes have Totems. Savage have Books. The simple answer is... Alliance have Coins.
The Coin is a weekly locked piece, the same as a Book.

Just allow gear to be bought with X number of coins like we do in Savage raiding.

I honestly never got why they didn't do tokens in alliance after CT. Not only could you get them from the duties themselves, but they also drop in multiples from desynthing sometimes. Just make the token a weekly separate from the gear drops and it'd make life that much easier. I'm past the gear from having done p1-3s a bunch, but farming glams from current alliance raids is always a slog.

For the love of god please change the loot system in Aglaia to a token system like Asphodelos. I've run this god forsaken raid 7 times now and have yet to see a healer chest or hands piece drop. This kinda stinks of something Blizzard would do in their poor decision making in not respecting the players time. True you were not guaranteed a piece depending on your roll, but at least you were guaranteed a drop.

Funny enough i was on the opposite, got the healer one on my 2nd run, goon on the third, only to have those drop like 80% the time..... xD

The loot rng sucks and id really love some backup...IF at least on the next patch we could get an npc to trade any piece for another of the same kind....
