    Change loot system in Aglaia

For the love of god please change the loot system in Aglaia to a token system like Asphodelos. I've run this god forsaken raid 7 times now and have yet to see a healer chest or hands piece drop. This kinda stinks of something Blizzard would do in their poor decision making in not respecting the players time. True you were not guaranteed a piece depending on your roll, but at least you were guaranteed a drop.

Changing this and the raids to one single token would make things easier to deal with. Dont wanna run this for 85 runs and never see what I want/need <.>

Saying it's something Blizzard would do doesn't make a whole lot of sense when there hasn't been tokens since alliance raids were first introduced.

But I do agree. It would be nice to not have to run a raid multiple times a week because the item I desire did not drop.

So....you'd rather be fighting 8 people for a token instead of 2 people for a job specific gear drop? Hope your roll luck is good.

I mean, either you're fighting 8 people for a piece of gear or you're hoping that 1 out of the 2 gear pieces is the one out of 3 (?) possible types and is 1 out of the 7 sets of gear. I feel like it's less frustrating to lose a roll for something than it is to run through it and have it not show up at all also.

I’d rather they add a token system like in savage.

For those unaware, in each savage floor when you clear you get a book, once you have enough you can exchange them for pieces of gear specific to that boss, and so it acts as rng insurance so you’ll be able to get any item you want/need with enough time/kills.

I understand not wanting to add tons of currency to the game but I don’t think adding a token for the alliance raids would be excessive.

Well you could just upgrade crafting gear to the same ilvl as the gear that drops from Aglaia (this is what I do). The one piece of gear is just a neat bonus for me to not have to worry about purchasing bottles of rain. It makes very little difference to me personally if I get gear or not. I'm really just there for the coin (and a chance of getting the loot at the end).

A new alliance raid, a new thread about people who don't understand how loot works. It's the same as the rest of the game.

When the normal raids first came out I spent hours running the same fight over and over just to get a chest piece token. Tokens are nice, but at the same time its not that great fighting the entire group on a roll. Alliance raids are also not a primary way through gear progression so overall I believe the current system is perfectly fine. You still get a coin at the end of the raid to go towards getting your 600 gear.

Erm...You get a coin when you finish the alliance raid that functions similar to the books.

I think he knows about the coin, but they obviously don't do the same thing.
