One of my forum bans is for "profanity", by the way. When you get banned on the forums, they show you what it was for, my post was self-censored. So you certainly can get banned for curse words on here, and I'd rather not risk doing it in-game.
Of course you can get in trouble for profanity. :X That's what I'm trying to get at....too many people seem to lack the understanding that if they use colorful language or act like a jerk in-game or online, there is the chance they can be reported over it as they are technically breaking the TOS. It's a calculated risk I suppose, but if people are that concerned, I'd like to think that we are all capable of carrying on a conversation without having to resort to profanity or inappropriate interactions.

FWIW, I've also had a forum suspension for profanity (10 days to boot!). Mine was for a comment along the lines of "if you don't want people to think you're a bum*, don't do that"). I thought it was rather petty as I only used the mildly-upgraded British version of the word, but alas, it still broke the TOS and it is what it is. But I'm not sitting over here like OMG I CAN'T TYPE ON THE FORUMS ANYMORE OR I'LL GET BANNED!! I'm just slightly more careful with my words.
