stop pointing fingers. and take responsibility for your community's screw upThis is mostly how all of this started. Someone from jp got mass reported with evidence being Twitch. If I am remembering correctly mods or gm's within the game are not suppose to be watching someone's stream so they could see when they wipe in their savage prog and pull them into Gaol to tell them they are banned for 10 days because they have proof they are using plug ins. I highly doubt they have that information displayed in game anywhere unless they spoke about it within the game to someone who reported them after they admitted to using a mod or plug in. I don't think this is the case a bunch of people reported someone for having plug ins after the statement made on the jp ffxiv news, they spread it on 5ch and they mass reported someone. That someone was banned for 10 days they didn't even get the first offense warning either as they are suppose to even with evidence.
So fresh it'll smack yo momma!!!
The community can do whatever they want honestly, I am watching everyone eat each other over simple things. They are not really my community, no offense to everyone. I don't interact with people in a large environment. The only community I could somewhat say I am super involved in is dark souls, and even for that it is only like 5 posts of reddit to help someone through a boss fight. No offense but this thread makes me glad I don't interact more with people. Everyone can go scorched earth for all I care, I am not involved. I was only stating this is probably why. People are taking things to dumb levels and I am sure every time a ton of people report someone and show the gm's twitch they will ban every person on the platform because they are clearly doing their job without seeing that people are abusing the report function.
Personally I just want to be able to see my damage numbers without worrying someone will report me for even looking at them or speaking about them. I have been cave manning it with copy and paste into word pad to see how much damage I do within a dungeon, in explorer mode, and stone, sea, and sky dummy smacking. I want to be able to use simple plug ins or mods like every other game I play. Even world of tanks let people have mods as long as they were verified and not creating a advantage within the competition. People will have a cow if I had a sound mod or something so I could hear the dark souls death sound every time I die. It would definitely be a moral booster for me, but not in any way cheating.
I know I was considering having something that looked like a mod on my stream as well as audio calls for things so chat could use those. It would be seen as an add on. So it isn't editable but it can be misconstrued as evidence against someone. If one of my chat sounds or sub sounds was dynamo senpai, and someone played it while dynamo's was going off I could get banned. I was also thinking about adding something that integrated with the game so it would be in a separate window so people could see cooldowns who where watching. That is also apparently a plug in and could be mistaken as such. I would get a 10 day ban. This was probably why they were not going on a huge ban wave on twitch before.

It's not really making myself good as it is admitting that I am an antisocial shut in that doesn't trust people. Also might respect rules for things at the detriment of my own well being. It was like this in school too. If the teacher said no cell phones in the school, I left it at home, same for work. I will suffer with small numbers on my hotbar until square says it is okay to be able to have a plug in that increases the size or way to move or increase the size of toast text and other useful things. I will sit here unable to adjust these things and continue to get a bit salty that someone put the work in already and square could just legit copy the plug in and put it into the game right now. The source code is so easy to find.
