I started FF14 with no addons. Got used to it. Telegraphs is a country mile better than WoW. Bosses is so easy. Coming from WoW with lots of addons due to high end guild requirements.

All bosses just needs practice to learn their mechanics. Addon is not required.

You have an 88% uptime (meaning youre not pressing your buttons every 5-10thth GCD... meaning you're not doing something for 1/5th to 1/10th of the fight) and you fail to use your CDs roughly 25% of the time.

You might need someone to look over your groups performance and help you out.

Edit: Correction, you have an 83% uptime in your most recent fights, and you fail to use your CDs exactly 25% of the time.

Strategy guides don't tell you anything about your dps, whether you're improving on your dps or not, timers, ect. Yes people can clear without addons, doesn't mean we shouldn't have access to these addons. Btw console players have been doing parse runs too and just using other people's logs so they can run them through XIVAnalysis, but I guess we don't consider that? If console players could use 3rd party addons they absolutely would lol

I'm not "against" AddOns. Mostly addressing those people who say endgame can't be cleared without them and they're a "crutch" to those elite players.

I'm just mostly saying strategy guides doesn't really apply when there's mechanics with tight dps checks. That's something a guide can't account for as that's just your own skill at that point. Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of console players just use other people's logs to gauge their own performance in their statics, but that's just me :shrugs:

I SOOOO sorry that I can't play like the PC master race....in order for me to MEET your specifications to join your group I need to be better...I must be better...I should go buy a $3,000 PC....a $400 monitor...install a myriad of add ons so that I know when to be on the boss, and when to move 4 pixels to the left...so that I can get a 100% uptime....then have my parse uploaded so that I can show the world HOW F$(@#ING AMAZZZING I AM..... My god this literally is like talking to a end game WoW moron about only wanting people that can be galaxy brain players, and will kick ANYONE that makes the slightest mistake. Seriously the EXACT reason I hated playing WoW....end game was gated by these idiots that needed you to kiss the ring before you were "allowed" to get in a raid.

Just amazing how fast people who say it's only for personal improvement and they only look up their own will reach for it when they get upset at someone. Honestly it's why they shouldn't ever have that functionality in game.
