What he said wasn't even wrong, and other Streamers have similar arguments with chat and ban people too and don't get the same blowback.
I think the difference is that he comes across way more like an unlikable douchebag when he does, if you're Asmongold people are gonna be more accepting towards it and take it less seriously because it's more part of his persona.
With Pyro it's not really a persona or an exaggeration that's just what he's like.
He also comes across more like an adult outside of that too while you've got a lot of Streamers that are basically children in adult bodies so people have different expectations.
But I really don't think his mental breakdown was actually that bad for Twitch lol.
It just came across as both more real and also less comedic because he's not a 30 year old boy who became popular as a Streamer as a teenager and never grew up.

I dunno tho every time I try and watch his Stream I tune in and he's having a giant argument with chat for like 30+ minutes or he's taking notes for 30 minutes between every sentence.
It's pretty unwatchable imo.
But I also think most drama and outrage Streamers are totally unwatchable and it's VERY common content.
