It's not even that it were few. The culprit that crossed the line was actually a single person. I've been there and watched scrott myself he was a very wholesome dude and it's a shame that he stopped.
What really happened is that a person has sent him a death threat via mail including scotts private adress to prove his point. Scrott then revealed the informations of the sender in his stream which got him banned from twitch for 30 days.

Not saying FFXIV does not have its fair share of black sheep but this is the internet for you. Toxicity is all over the place, aslong as people stay anonymous they feel empowered.
Every community has idiots especially a big community like FFXIV but stuff like this get's too real and I can understand why he stopped streaming after such an experience.

Given what I watched were some clips of his on compilations and that might always be his worst moments. But these gave up a negative impression and I can see why people target him and not others like Zepla who does not behave in such a way. I just don't think you should treat your audience like this, even tho he might as well has good and nice streams but I don't think that would excuse his abusive moments.

except.... this is not the first time Pyro has lost his shit, scrubbed his twitch of the video, then release an "apology" video, blaming everyone else "look what they made me do." (this is a massive red flag regarding abusive behavior), promises to be better, then we wait until his next nuclear meltdown where he repeats these same steps.

He really isn't a good person and im honestly surprised Twitch hasn't axed his channel already because he has a penchant for flying off the handle in pure rage and start swinging the banhammer on anyone who dares to disagree with him

it kind of does? if this is how he acts on stream, the thing he does to keep the lights on, how does he act when he is off stream? because he has several tendencies that are massive red flags and it makes me worry about his gf/fiancée and his dog because i would not be surprised at all if he abuses them.

you are well within your right to dislike him and to say so but it shouldn't have any bearing on whether a ban is warranted.

First, what Pyro was wrong and inappropriate but as a person that has experiences and dealt with someone that have angry issues like him, I can understand why he did what he has done.

Let me be clear about this, I LIKE ADD-ONS, BUT TOS TOLD US NOT TO USE THEM, SO I DON’T NOT USE THEM. My hope that one day that those elements of those programs like ACT and others can be incorporated into the game within the UI or created list that has what can be use and what can not be use. He was streaming with it, so he was reported. However, people continue to push the issue that made him flare up like he did, then it was taking out of context and now he is getting witch hunt (some of the 4ch/5ch folks found his Facebook account) by those folks.

Next part of this is going to go alittle bit about my real life outside the game. I have two kids (age 5 and 12) that have autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and ADHD (That is what Pyro has). One of the reasons why I played this game because to get away from that craziness and I can tell you all of stuff that myself goes through everyday including bad mood swing, no hours of sleep, severe anger issues and other stuff. One of the traits about ADHD is that they do not deal with animosity and criticizing too well, for most of us we will brush it aside and move on but those who is on the spectrum and ADHD is a whole different ballgame (believe me, I got toys thrown at me, Temper tantrums for hours and getting bite hard on my body) now imagine yourself with those same type of conditions but you are a streamer that have over thousands of people watching you, many more that watched your VODs and getting income from that type of work. Yeah, I am not excusing his actions but when people don’t really pay attention to the channel labels, saying these things (even if it is true or not) then you combined it with problems he has (and before anybody says, “that should not be an excuse” and it is not but I see first-hand that my kids can go from happy to angry in mere seconds and there is no way to control it) will be recipe for disaster like what happened.

In short, he had a mistake and SHOULD be judged by FFXIV team, not by us, some 4ch/5ch people or randoes on the internet. I think we all are taking this too seriously right now. We all should just chill out, relax and get ready for 6.2.

I feel sorry for his wife (Fiance?), his attitude seems to have textbook points of build up abusive tendencies, if he is as abusive towards his chat, there is gonna be a huge trouble in paradise scenario in the future.

Man, twitch culture is fucking weird. You've seriously extrapolated some a clip of dude getting angry with people on twitch antagonizing him to "yeah he probably abuses his dog and fiancee".
