Yeah but it's not all the same groups of people. Some people were there that don't care about what game he likes, simply because they just like his stream in general, or his meltdowns. It's not like the whole FFXIV community knows who he is.

Then again the meltdown was different circumstances as well since a lot of the reason he was tilted during his WoW meltdown was the culture of sexual harassment. So if SE did something as big as Blizzard's culture of dehumanizing people like that - yeah different result...

I think it's a bit of a bad take to be honest.

Others view FFXIV's drama to be really mild or others have put it - actually lame. The company doesn't promote a culture of harassment (or at least it didn't blow up/kept under wraps) unlike Blizzard. SE actually updated their policies about stalking and such because they at least make some kind of effort. They decided to break from workaholic culture and actually lengthen time between patch cycles so their workers have better balance. While there were small outbreaks like the harassment surrounding a fanzine, and other community troubles...

Our drama is - Bunny men/buff cat girls, locked hairstyles - gear/ housing and mods.

There's of course cheating and botting - but that's the same with many games
