If anything it would be a suspension. People can whine and complain on here about grey areas till blue in the face, however, the simple fact is all mods are against the ToS. Using them openly on stream is just asking for trouble.

The only question around 3rd party tools is what you can get away with, not what is allowed. Each person will make that decision for themselves.

What he said wasn't even wrong, and other Streamers have similar arguments with chat and ban people too and don't get the same blowback.
I think the difference is that he comes across way more like an unlikable douchebag when he does, if you're Asmongold people are gonna be more accepting towards it and take it less seriously because it's more part of his persona.
With Pyro it's not really a persona or an exaggeration that's just what he's like.
He also comes across more like an adult outside of that too while you've got a lot of Streamers that are basically children in adult bodies so people have different expectations.
But I really don't think his mental breakdown was actually that bad for Twitch lol.
It just came across as both more real and also less comedic because he's not a 30 year old boy who became popular as a Streamer as a teenager and never grew up.

I dunno tho every time I try and watch his Stream I tune in and he's having a giant argument with chat for like 30+ minutes or he's taking notes for 30 minutes between every sentence.
It's pretty unwatchable imo.
But I also think most drama and outrage Streamers are totally unwatchable and it's VERY common content.

Sorry, Pyro is now an 'undesirable' in the community. The complete destruction of his livelihood is the only thing that will satiate the bloodlust.

idk who he is. i have never heard of him until this thread. i do not care about him one way or the other. he has been streaming openly with 3rd party software. the rules of 3rd party software have been clear. he is not permanently banned. he can continue to play and stream. i do not care about him one way or the other. i wish this thread would leave the front page forever.

A pretty important thing to note too is that he didn't only Stream with them, he actively promoted them.
I am not even a big watcher of his I watched him every now and again when he streamed the MSQ I did give him a genuine chance.
And even tho I rarely watched I still heard him promote it when asked about it.

Something that Yoshida has VERY specifically stated is against the rules so there's no room for the whole '' oh but they never said anything/ weren't specific enough '' excuse.

I really don't think that even 0.1% of the community cares about Pyro lol.
He has had hate viewers since the start basically, it was the same in WoW too when he streamed that.
It's the same with Asmongold too and he has even said it himself, he sees the same people who have been around for years who are hate viewers regardless of what game he plays.
Usually they're not from a particular community and actually upset about that they just really hate him and will find any excuse to do it.
He has even shown people on Stream before ( sometimes in the unban requests ) where people will pose as either FFXIV or WoW players when they're not to try and cause drama and create outrage.

There were even people who just created new accounts when he started playing FFXIV for the sole purpose of following him around and bothering him.
This is something they do in every game where it's possible to do so.
Most Streamers with even just a decently sized viewerbase will have mentally unstable and obsessed people like that.

Edit: I think especially with the public shitfest and outrage bait you probably have people who are actually just creating accounts for the purpose of reporting others...
It shouldn't be underestimated how insane and pathetic people are.
It's impossible to know who and why, and if they even play the games altogether for real or not when it comes to this.
There's people whos entire identity as a human being basically revolves around being a hater.
