    I can't help but wonder if focused reporting on the level the streamers were subjected to but aimed at the bot farms in Eureka Pyros and/or Mare Lamentorum would actually produce results or not.

    It probably would. But remember these folks would find it a lot more enjoyable to take down a popular streamer than some random bot farm.
