Enough backlash will make them change their stance on things. Especially if the reduction in streamers leads to a reduction in player count...something that always goes hand in hand.

SE white knights simply do not care. Devs literally in LL with grins imply "w/e use act but if you harras person over it we 100% ban". Can you imagine, you play game and bigger font cooldowns is harassing lunatics on 5ch/NA that abuse mass reports and lie in them?
For SE white knights it's useless to report bots because they can't gloat about ban, they just want to see people suffer on stream.... (and if se ban more bots/rmt how se white knights will buy more gil?)
Yoshi P himself uses act like program. I do wonder if banned people had UI mod that Yoshi probably uses himself aswell ....

2:10 Our official stance is third party tools will always be "no", even if it is basic function tools our anwser is please don't use them. If in future we decide to suspend all accounts using them, please be aware it is on you're own risk.

The gray area argument is not valid at all, because they were talking more about "what is third party tool". Because as it happened, players are like "is my windows clock third party" and it is pretty gray area to explain what exactly it is or it is not. ACT was called Third party tool and they told 5 times "do not use it" when devs told you to use it exactly?
