I think a mod should just go through all the recent forum posts and ban everybody who is defending addons.
The controversy about it is so annoying, especially as it literally doesn't impact anybody aside from the small niche of XIV streamers.

I wish they would, too. It's sad that they almost certainly won't, but I would appreciate it (and, admittedly, feel a little bit of schadenfreude).
