I've seen some pretty obnoxious kicks in alliance raids. Back in SB, people would kick others all the time for minor things in Orbonne, for example.I'm not saying that you didn't encounter a few jerks, but I'm almost always skeptical when someone claims to have been kicked for the smallest of mistakes. Where stacks are concerned in Alliance raids, missing 1 person, heck, even a few people won't wipe a raid. 9 times out of 10, there's some important context we are missing here. If it had to do with the scales...well, people tend to be less patient about that, but I haven't seen anyone kicked for messing that mechanic up yet, and I've ran that raid a good bit. Some may be salty and express their frustrations, but that's usually it.

The Ivalice raids did at least have mechanics where trolls could wipe a noticeable amount of the alliance since it had a number of instances of targeting people with AoE markers that either followed them or directed cone/line attacks.
Trying to get 3 people to stack in each marker so it wouldn't one shot the entire raid~

Sounds like the balance mech on the final fight. People lose their minds if someone misses that. And it's easy to do when you're new. Report them, blacklist them, and move on.
SE just needs to stop putting in mechs where one person can gain all the vitriol of everyone else. I saw the worst things said about people who messed up the QTE on SoS, too.
they clearly future proof the mechanic by putting it so late in the fight
by time next 24 man is out youll skip it lol
Instead of blaming people who don't know the mechanic, or blaming people who get mad at others for failing the mechanic, perhaps we should blame SE for implementing a mechanic that one player can mess up for 23 others in the first place.
Not sure what you meant by “stack” mechanic that leads to a wipe. I’d like to think you meant the balance but I don’t remember seeing any moment you need to stack together. I do think that particular mech has a ridiculous potential of being trolled just like SoS rapid button mash. At the very least people can do see who’s trolling.
One of my runs from last week we had a salty player from another group that malds when people miserably fails the stack up marker & earth shakers. One happened and almost wipe the alliance because whoever had the earth shakers also decide to stack with the stack up marker. Another happened during the add phase where all 3 stack markers were all over the place. This one truly wiped the alliance because so many dead bodies lying on the wrong side.
That salty player:”Istg you have 40 levels worth of alliance raid gameplay and you still don’t know how to deal with stack up marker properly??”
Don't think that happened, a single person cannot influence the mechanic unless more people were standing at the wrong place.
Besides, I once or twice wiped on the scale encounter, but the folks shrugged it off and tried it again. With the bonus they could vibe more with the music.
You don't get to decide how people play.(Generally on blind runs I do them with people also doing it blind, or willing to accept blind runners. It's not nice to make random others work harder for one's own sake.)
Did you ask before the start? "Hi, first time, any mechanics that can wipe us?"
At worst you will be kicked immediately and not waste your or other's time.
