    Unfortunately, in this game, bans are pretty much the equivalent to warnings. Even a "warning" leaves you open to any other minor "offense" leading to a strike. A ban is a full on strike, two more and you are gone, permanently.

    A punishment and a warning to the one getting the ban.
    A warning to everyone else that breaking rules can have real consequences - and that warning was probably the real point they wanted to make.
