As the majority of my FC is on PC, while I'm on PS4, you're essentially asking me to not talk with my friends. Typing takes so long on PS4 that it's not really a viable tool for communication, especially for questions and the like.

Have I noticed the use of a 3rd party tool that does call out in raids? Only so our MT that normally does call outs doesn't go hoarse when explaining mechanics to new raiders that we're helping to learn the fights but otherwise, they do it themselves. I don't see that as any different than joining a PS Chat room really.

The OP is just taking a jab at SE for ambiguously saying "...which is why we decided to simply prohibit the use of all third-party tools and software." (link for context). It would be silly for them to actually enforce it for using a tool like discord that most likely promotes community growth for a community driven game.

Don't forget that people who do callouts via discord is 3rd party tool aswell not to mention 9th guy people used for world prog. Watching a tutorial about boss/class includes using 3rd party tools.... it's bannable aswell. VPN is a third party tool aswell, if you want low ping you can move to live near data center of your choice.

People abuse third party tools too much, they have to be stopped by moving whole pc playerbase to ps4 where real ff14 gaming is.

100% agree with this we should report streamers who are clearly using third party software to communicate with others through Discord. Not to mention showing progress with third party software that can help analyze their errors and mistakes which is clearly not an intended feature what the developers intended.
