    Client Freezes and Closes on Mac

    Hello,

    I've been gaming happily on the Free Trial and now a subscription for a little over a year now. But for the last week, I've been experiencing the following error code while in cutscenes or even just standing around after logging in to the game.

    "An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting FINAL FANTASY XIV.
    2022-04-19_14:36

    ???+7FF81AC43629"

    I've reached out to technical support and was given an article about clearing Internet Explorer's history. Problem is I don't use Internet Explorer. I'm on a 2020 iMac. I've reached out for clarification on this point, but I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this error code, and what steps may have been taken to resolve it?
