FF14 Twitch numbers suck for a reason

Square Enix while I understand enforcing a policy acting on the obvious mass reporting with no investigation is extremely bad PR.

This will further kill the category on Twitch as it is obvious streamers are being targeted. Constantly stepping around this issue and not making a list of approved addons and unapproved ones is causing a large amount of confusing in your community.

Most of us are adults so please treat us as such by making a specific list.

I also think Twitch culture is very different than in FFXIV, Twitch is generally speaking full of extremely immature and toxic people which I think turns away a lot of FFXIV players.
It's more in line with MOBA's and FPS in that regard.

The notion that this has anything to do with Addons I tbh find to be quite absurd and I see people using ACT all the time.
They just don't based on what I've seen at least use Addons that are blatant cheating.
People have been using ACT for parsing on Stream since forever and haven't gotten in trouble for it unless they've been shitty towards people ingame because of it.

That too tbh, I don't particularly enjoying watching MMO's for the gameplay I enjoy it because of the people streaming them.
Asmongold also just super carries whatever MMO ( or game in general ) he plays on Stream, those numbers don't really say much at all about how successful a game is.
It's moreso that Streamers tend to be attracted to popular games because of the potential audience rather than Streamers making games popular ( in most cases ).

The only Streamer I actually watch for the gameplay too is Maximilliandood when he plays fighting games or Turin on Youtube for RTS especially his Warhammer tournaments, becaues fighting games and RTS are fun to watch.
I don't rly enjoy watching any other genre.

Edit: There actually is an exception in FFXIV and that's Mikepreachwow when he has funny interactions with his FC, his FC is really incredible and add a lot to this Streams.
But you can also watch that on Youtube in clips.
But the theatre re-telling of his ARR journey was hilarious to watch live.

I love the copium people have when an aspect of the game clearly sucks lol. The game is simply not fun to watch.

A lot of Streamers will even avoid the MSQ on patch day because of this, because they know their viewership will be lower.

How many are using GShade? That interferes with the UI given this ridiculous broad definition they are using right now. There is no specific list so you have no way of telling me welllllll you see GShade is super different yada yada and this or that reason.
