Performance Dancer

I don't know if there is a threat about this, but wouldn't it be fun if Dancer Job got a Performance skill just like Bards do? Something like a Just Dance where you can have different dancing categories and dance with the Bards as they play music? I don't know why that thought came to my mind lol

We do have different dances you can learn, and buy throughout the game, maybe a system were you can chop up and reassemble various dances into a new one to make a dance routine would be in order. By chop up i mean mix and match certain dance steps or movements within a dance step and combine it with other ones to make new dances but that are only usable during Dance Performance for the Dancer job that way it doesn't ruin the prestige of buying new emote dances or earning them through other reward systems.

+1 to learning dance parts and being able to cobble together our own dance. If each step is like 1 to 3seconds, you could really put something special together..especially since the current dances as is are very short and repetitive.

(Compare to Guildwars 1 and 2 dances)

Now I’m imagining the guy who teaches you the “ballroom” dance getting another storyline.

If we could also use this to learn and use the waltz from grand cosmos, I’m all for it.

I honestly been think alot since they introduce the bard music mechanic about why they never introduce a Dance mini-game mechanic as well.

This idea has so much potential but I guess it maybe limitations of programming and the fact they have to constantly update it for every new Dance introduced to add more to potential creative custom dances compared to Bard music mini-game that is always limited to what it starts out with.

Yes maybe a step system just like the ones we use for Standard Step, those steps would work as the bard notes, but then you can put them like in different dance categories (ballet, hip hop, etc) and do a Performance, just like the one they shown in the Shadowbringers trailer. I know it would be límites at first, but still would be awesome imo.

This is a cool Idea I 100% agree with them bringing more things like this but I wonder how it would work exactly?
Would it just be a bunch of emotes
or a combo or emotes that you time with music.. idk but a cool idea none the less
