Delete all button on the blacklist because mine has been full of RMT spammers since 2.0 before I resorted at the time of filtering out /tell completely. And I don't feel like sitting there and removing 200 names 1 by 1...
Ability to split HP and MP display elements and ability to hide MP on non MP jobs
Ability to split left and right primary cross hotbar
A different color scheme for controller 'start' menu... the yellow text blends into half of the backgrounds in this game
and not really ui but would eliminate a mod.... Hroth/Viera Hats! If we are having a texture update and every piece of gear is going to have to be touched manually for the update there is no reason they arent being adapted for all races at the same time.

A ToS friendly way to display the FPS at all times is to use the function for this within Steam.
You do not need the Steam version of the game, you can use the menu option Games > Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library to add the regular PC version.
For me (on Linux, installed via Lutris) it gave me the option to just tick the right game in a provided list and did all the work for me.
Then in Steam settings you can enable In-Game > In-game FPS counter.
This was actually super valuable for working out the right settings to make the game run smoothly in Linux, but I can see why it'd be useful to anyone to optimise their game settings.
As Steam is an official method to play the game, no third-party tools are involved.
As an Australian player that bought the game over six years ago, and stopped playing after a few weeks because the latency playing on JP servers (which was the best option) was too frustrating... I came back to the game specifically because of the addition of actual Australian servers a few months ago.The fact that non-japanese players playing within their own region feel the need to download a mod to simulate the responsiveness that japanese players have by default, is a huge problem that needs to be addressed (5 years ago).
If they're not outright forgetting about the problem, the devs will talk like it's a "learn2play" issue or like we don't even understand how latency works or that it's just people with bad internet, but it's none of those things. We have to learn a whole new delay-based rhythm to play this game that we don't have to deal with in any other major MMO.
I just wanna sit someone down from SE, and tell them to try to do tight raid maneuvers on NA servers from the east coast of NA.
The poor experience of latency isn't just a QoL issue, it literally costs subscriptions. It lost them mine years ago.
This has been possible since Shadowbringers, take a look around the hudlayout menu, you'll find the ability to copy one slot to another. Click the little cog next to the slots while on the slot you want to copy to another.
Lol just cause you tested it, doesn't mean you are doing it right...yeah, just tested it, i seem to be at the perfect sks tier where i make it back to chaotic as the dot wore off, i dunno why i remembered making it back there so quickly, but still, you dont change your rotation, you change your sks stat. consolidating your combos into 1 button literally helps more than it hurts.
To refresh choas spring with 8 seconds left you would have to have a gcd around 1.6s. You do not have that with your 585 sks. With your SKS, you are skipping 3 of your GCDs, so you are not even doing your rotation correctly.
This shows the exact reason why we should have personal DPS meters. People obviously are not learning from reading tool tips and doing the MSQ / dungeons.

Liked OP for both the creation of the thread and all of the ideas which sound great to me.
One thing I like from some other games I've played (including at least one from SE) is having AoE indicators mirror the cast bar. Instead of just pulsing at a set rate, a second indicator grows to fill the AoE, and when it does and the borders touch, that's when the effect goes off and you want to be standing outside of it. I know this would be just as inaccurate as the cast bar itself due to the horrendous lag FFXIV has at all times, but it still would be a huge improvement over that bar. It's much easier to see than a bar you need to look at, because you already need to look at where your character is standing to do the dodging.
Edit: Oh, and another thing - more information linking within the UI of the game itself. The endgame area token trading is always a goddamned mess that's completely incomprehensible for anyone who takes the smallest of breaks from the game. Information about where items come from and what NPC shops have in them is already available on the Lodestone - put that directly in the game. I want to be able to look at a piece of gear and have it say "sold by [NPC]" and then be able to click on that and have the map pop up with a marker. Or which dungeon it comes from, or what items are needed to upgrade it when applicable, etc.

Eh, mods will persist anyways if people execute plugins better than what the game intentionally gives.
The ability to disable the weird panning when moving side by side through legacy controls.
Additional Markers, technically, I can swap markers painfully by manually replacing the info file the same way people have been doing it for HUDs on new toons, just a very roundabout way of doing it and painfully tedious to the point i just leave it to the other person to drop markers.
Better tab targeting for large enemies. You can't tab target a target if you're in it for some reason under cone settings. I don't think a plugin actually exists for this but it's been a nuisance if it happens, mostly bozja and arena units.
Something to move specific buffs on the hudlayout, such as bootshine. Currently stuck with other specific weapon buffs that do not matter.
I think WildStar had that. It was quite useful.Liked OP for both the creation of the thread and all of the ideas which sound great to me.

• Speech bubble.
• Saving more than 5 waymarks. At least 15 to 20 would suffice.
• Enable marking on selling items/trading gears for seals so we can say goodbye to all those extra clicks. Alternatively introducing CTRL+Right/Left click to instantly sell without confirmation window.
• Allow items from 1 retainer to be moved to another retainer’s bag without having to move it to player’s personal inventory first.
• Improve SSS by introducing dummies that has different properties depending on which job/role is chosen. They already dislike player who publicly announce the use of certain program that I should not name. Why just stop there? Improve your goddamned feature in the game, they are practically deserted & does not live up to their supposed functions.
One button press? Healer mains says hello.
If you want a consolidated buttons, let it be an option. I can live with that. I will figuratively mald if they force everybody to get used to a one button rotation.
