Damage meter ingame for ex/savage/ultimate at least, and buff timers on party list should be the priority.

Just going to request to the OP or anyone else:
Please take this wish list, and compile it and put it on the UI Discussion forum, where it has a better chance of being seen by someone who can pass it along to the developers.

I want it so I can just see people talking instead of actively sifting through chat tabs. Seeing a friend use the plug in version of this makes me sad because it is really helpful especially in dungeons. You don't need to look at chat at all to see if someone is speaking even in say chat if they don't know party chat exists, it is a simple thing but is super useful. For role play it could also be a nice touch being there are limited amounts of chat windows you could just read what everyone is writing above their heads. There is also the finding the person who just spoke near you in town so you can see where they are instead of walking around hitting target on their name or pestering them in chat as to where they are currently. Just small little things I could see being extremely useful.
+1 for the zoom.Pretty much all of this post but mostly this part.. it is so extremely annoying to be a tank main sometimes because of the zoom.. we have all these mechincs blowing up in our faces, the bosses range from man sized to mech to small moon! And were expected to see things like a raised hand or worse of all Eden Shiva.. how many players know she has a gaze marker over her head when doing redress, how many players know that during Holy she has 1 or 4 orbs orbiting over her head to know the safe space? I do because I study fights but its still almost impossible to see them as a main tank.
Also for other options we need a way to blacklist effects we don't wanna see, I'm tired of being blinded by things like Red Mage LB3 or any of the new SMN Primal attacks. They were pretty an cool the first time.. after all this time I want them gone so I can actually see the fight
For the battle effects: You can already change between all effects, limited effects or no effects, individually for you, your party, other people and PvP. It doesn't allow specific choices about what to show and what not, but helped me a lot with seeing more than a big colourful blur. I only wish there would be an option specifically for healer bubbles and friendly ground AOEs, because I don't want any other effects apart from my own, but really need these. Afaik the limited effect option contains more than those..? (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
Lol just cause you tested it, doesn't mean you are doing it right...
To refresh choas spring with 8 seconds left you would have to have a gcd around 1.6s. You do not have that with your 585 sks. With your SKS, you are skipping 3 of your GCDs, so you are not even doing your rotation correctly.
This shows the exact reason why we should have personal DPS meters. People obviously are not learning from reading tool tips and doing the MSQ / dungeons.
you need to seriously reread what i wrote friend. please, take your time.
I've seen these suggestions being posted there for years tho...Just going to request to the OP or anyone else:

~sigh~
Another one I've seen suggested before is a way to make sure all current actions for a job are assigned to hotbars. This could take a number of different forms, such as the actions window marking ones you don't have set, or having an option in the menu to "assign all unique actions to the next available hotbar slots." As it is, whenever they overhaul a job at an expansion release it's a nightmare to redo and make sure you have all your tools on hand.
Completly agree, most combo as they are don't provide real gameplay variety, they are just here to provide visual change and putting that on a single button would be great to either reduce button bloat or give room to skill that actually provide actual gameplay.
What is wrong with the current ones? They Work? maybe it is accepted in other MMO's like wow... go play those instead then if can't beat the game with what is in it.
