I'll probably bail for a few months or up to a year if my static falls apart. I don't really play the game anymore outside of raiding stuff. Not to say I don't enjoy it otherwise, I've just done literally almost everything else.

I'll also leave for keeps if this game becomes F2P and/or P2W.

A better MMO is released. Currently one doesn't exist, but it's certainly not impossible.

In a way, it is F2P since the free trial increased to level 60 and included Heavensward. There are people taking advantage of that to play it as if it's F2P and Yoshi-P seemed open to extending it to 70 or higher as more expansions release. My concern is that most of the people who are unable to pay a subscription are probably very young and that can increase the amount of toxic and inconsiderate behaviour. If it remains up to level 60 then we can just avoid level 50 and 60 areas.

i dont have any classes keeping me here after the eternal depressing torment of the monkey's paw that is BLU (my favorite class across the series) and the complete gutting of healers.

the social interaction isn't keeping me since most of my friends have already been forced out by their favorite classes being either lobotomized (AST), completely removed and replaced with something else that entire playstyle be damned (MNK), or being so stagnant that they haven't changed since stormblood (RDM).

I'm not leaving any time soon. The only time I would leave is when the game completely becomes unplayable for me. So far, FFXIV is on the right track for my enjoyment.
