Seriously, I'm sick of being grouped up with these jerks and suffering through their spam.

Because if you could blacklist to never team up/against certain players you could pretty much abuse it in various ways. For example you could blacklist all regular players of your opposing role but not that 1 player who you regularly beat cause you are better than them![]()
Fair point, but I'd really just love them to be silenced.
Because you'd never be able to get into a match!
What about preventing people from using the same chat command more than 3 times in succession. So they can't spam "nice job x 1,000" because after they do it twice, it mutes them.
The lack of a functioning Blacklist for PvP is my #1 issue with CC, and the reason I've stopped playing for the time being.
I don't care about trivial things like chat spam. My problem is that because you can't derank out of Crystal, it's full of bored idiots throwing matches on purpose,
because they have nothing better to do and there's no penalty since they're already sitting at 0 Crystal Credit.
If it's a one-off, whatever, but I run into the same people match after match, day after day, and my only recourse after eating a guaranteed loss,
is waiting several minutes before queuing again and praying. During offpeak hours, the only real solution is to stop playing entirely.
It's frankly insane that SE hasn't given users even the most basic tools for dealing with such an obvious problem.
You could put in an interval for chat as well. I know I have accidentally spammed some chat commands I didn't mean to since I swapped hotkeys, but even things like that can be kept to a minimum
