Most Hated XIV Character

Venat and Hermes are pretty much tied.

Y'shtola is fighting for first place but being simply boring and useless will never beat being a traitor.

G'raha is my least fave, because his behaviour makes me uncomfortable. He's just not for me.

Honestly other than him I'm fairly neutral or positive toward most characters in the game, I wouldn't say I feel hatred!

Meteion and Venat. Meteion because I thought she made a terrible and anticlimactic villain who was behind the final days, and Venat because of her awful motives for the sundering.

An honorable mention would be Kairos because of covenient memory wipe.

Yeah there are others that get under my skin, but he's the one I feel absolutely nothing for, which I think is worse.

Y'shtola is annoying because she's condensending. G'raha can be over bearing and I like him more as the Exarch, but I blame that and my dislike of Zenos on how they were written and not the character themselves.

But Ilberd? I understand making a villan for people to love to hate but there's nothing to love about this man. You ser can rot in the pit of the seventh hell along side Asahi.

Probably Asahi. OG Minfilia is... Well I don't hate her, but I also don't like her at all and I'm glad she's gone for good.

Also super disliked OG "Yda." Lyse is a mostly pretty uninteresting character but Yda was outright irritating 9 times out of 10 and was only tolerable thanks to her dynamic with Papalymo.

Unfond of, but at least they're antagonists: Fordola, Yotsuyu, Misija

Venat followed closely by Hermes. At least Hermes is treated as the villain he is, but the game bends over backwards to justify the violence Venat inflicted and it's sick.

And even if the game repeatedly tells you you're wrong to think so.

Hard agree - while I may dislike some characters, Ilbert is just a rat bastard with zero redeeming qualities. Traitorous fool of a Took he is

Lyse and the writers who butchered Yda to create this monster.

1. She uses her Limitbreak all the time for no reason other than showing off how "strong" and incredible she is.

2. She was "elected" to be the resistance leader without ANY qualifications whatsoever besides her little Othard sightseeing tour.

3. Othard was so rushed that Lyse matured like milk you forget somewhere in the sun for some weeks.

4. The transition of Yda into Lyse was done in literally two Quests and the only thing the maincast of the game had to say about it was "yeah lol we knew all along". Heck Alphinaud got ARR AND Heavensward to grow but Lyse doesn't even get one expansion let alone more than two quests.

5. Did we already talked about how STRONK and POWERLUL she has to be? LB Fordola, LB A FORKING PRIMAL, punch Elidibus in a forking Zenos body and leave more marks than we ever did! LB a random mob in a dungeon!

6. Did anyone notice that she was even there in Othard? She was like a ghost standing in the background not doing anything at all.

And ofc she has to be the leader of Ala Mhigo now caue reasons, not like she did anything besides killstealing everything from the WoL except when it really mattered. And ofc she introduced democracy, after punching Lakshmi in the face with a limitbreak.
