Most Hated XIV Character

I didn't mind Gaius in ARR but his return and the raid series surrounding him have some of the worst character rewriting. Do not enjoy him at all and I hope he doesn't play a major role in anything when we have an actually sympathetic and interesting Garlean mouthpiece in Julius now.

TBH.. I don't really have any that stand out as hated... However in situations where we have choices on who to take in game I tend to follow the typical mobile gatcha game mind set of "If it's not a cute girl then IDGAF"... And when ppl argue that X male character is broken OP the response is "Dun care. Not using unless they meet a version of the Avatar that has mastered Gender Bending" >.>

Zodiark. Hyped to the bones, made us think he is the most powerful evil being. Even if he was in imperfect form, he should be much stronger and bigger than the one we encountered. He got slapped for less than 10 minutes and "oh nooo i die" even in extreme difficulty. He is so dumb, only thing he did was spinning the arena around and calling meteor. Guess what else can call meteor? Behemoths. A trash mob. I expected insta death, doom heavy kind of fight where healers need to use LB3 and spam those dispells in extreme.

Even worse to hype Zodiark up for years, then all we get is the sock puppet version for 10 minutes and a short cutscene and that's basically it.

It's still problematic. Everything makes sense from a story perspective, but it doesn't feel satisfying.

Even with Meteion as the twist villain, Zodiark should've had the spotlight for a bit. Zodiark was the build up of a large portion of the series. EW should have been his arc, and then Meteion should've been the next expansion with the in between patch stories getting us to that point.
