Pressing X to click quest objectives through Players

I'm not too sure where else to ask this other than here but I've been wondering since you can press X to click on a quest objective through player characters is it possible to make it so that you can also click through Chocobo companions owned by you and others because I have found myself irritated every time I use one myself and when I participate in Hunt trains or Fate farm where they are usually frequently used.

The settings for the Click Filter are under /characterconfig > Control Settings > Target > Click Filter Settings. You can change the types of clickable targets here. If you turn on "Enable selection of target nearest to mouse cursor" it will also magnet to the nearest NPC/object without you having to click directly on it.



However, my advice would be to set the Target Nearest NPC or Object keybind to something close to resting position. That, along with Target Nearest Enemy are two of the most useful keybinds in the game.
