I think the elemental wheel is broken. That chart says wind extinguishes fire, yet Fists of Fire does more damage than any other fist against Garuda. The same applies when fighting vultures/wind based mobs.

Yeah and even though it boosts atk power it would make sense that a strong elemental resistance would negate that boost.

Yeah, I think that the resistance should take off more damage than the attack power gives, but I guess they can't make resistance too harsh or BLMs would be useless against anything Lightning or Earth lol.
