Controller Targeting Suggestion

If anyone agrees or disagrees please share your thoughts about this suggestion. I've noticed controller players including myself experience target shifts if they don't fully press the trigger button and d-pad at the same time. If Target cycling is on, this will result in their initial target still being selected but unattackable because their target cycling circle is on a new potential target.

I think it would be good if the initial target is still attackable while the target cycling is happening so if the player started cycling targets by accident, they can still continue to attack their initial target and don't need to rush to cancel the target cycling so they can continue to dps. If the target cycling is intentional then the player would need to confirm target change by selecting the target after cycling to the new intended target.
