    Keep our skills when Level syncing in dungeons

    Something that's always been a problem with ff14 is the combat at lower levels. So my idea is we should not lose access to our skills whenever we level sync in dungeons. everything else can stay the same just let us keep our skills man that's the fun part about reaching max level the rotations are so fun it makes combat more enjoyable. We spend hours grinding to get to max level only to be forced to lose the skills we work so hard to get due to level syncing. The way the syncing works for fates should be the same for dungeons.

    imagine having your level 90 OGCDs, GCDs, oh sh-t buttons, etc, in sastasha. things would *melt* before whatever newbie happens to be there can even get a hit in.

    Or worse, having a full rotation but it's hit with the balance stick to account for sync and you barely do any damage but still have all those buttons to press lol

    I feel like they have difficulty balancing things as it is. If they can pull it off, great. But I'm doubtful they would.

    Where is the logic in this? They do the same scaling with low-level fates. What you're describing is having the same experience in the level 90 dungeons as the lower level dungeons but you'd have your full rotation and not just 3 buttons

    Pretty sure fate scaling works the same as dungeons tho?. I lose my entire kit by going into a ARR fate for example

    Also can you please try to adress some of the stuff mentioned like Tank invulns, party buffs and healer OGCDs, how do you scale down utility/buff abilities to be on par with not having them at all?
    people advocating for this seems to only think about damage, and forget everything else exists.

    And as far as I can tell all run into the same issues - on level characters just don't get to do anything since their synced down counterparts just steamroll everything. In case you forgot for better or Worse FFXIV has solid amount of content at all levels of progression since they don't just throw everything away as next expansion shows up. Level 50/60/70/80 raids and trials that aren't exactly proofed against some later skills. Giving additional advantage to veterans won't make it exactly fun for on level players. Unless you want to sell more boosts under the pretense that the only fun out there is the end game.

    This is complete nonsense. It works perfectly fine in games like swtor, especially with their updated level sync system in 7.0 (one of the few things they did right in 7.0).

    FFXIV isn't one of them and quite frankly isn't built for it. As people have said.

    I'm tired of being told to wait for post-patches and expansions for fixes and increased healing requirements that are never coming. Healers are not fun in all forms of content like all jobs should be, they're replaced by tanks and dps due to low healing requirements and their dps kit is small for 0 reason, when in the past we had more options and handled things just fine. I refuse to play healer in roulette come DT. I refuse to heal EXs, I refuse to go into Savage, and I am boycotting Ultimate.
