Not until the netcode improves. Highlights of this week, include me sniping somebody for full damage through guard, a single samurai taking out 4 people in one hit, me killing an invisible ninja with a Blast Charge. Firing an assembled chainsaw into the crystal and killing two people from 100% (although that's more of a balance issue). I still believe old pvp was more balanced than this. People always give healers pre 6.1 as an example of why it was unbalanced, but people forget rule no.1 in (usual) mmo pvp: kill the healer first. Besides, there wasnt multiple classes with one shot RNG limit breaks, and LB actually required some level of skill to use effectively. I miss CCing healers and blasting them with Terminal Velocity.

Taking into consideration GCD speed in this game, and the netcode, and sometimes the PVP feels turn based. WoW in nearly every aspect is inferior to XIV, but one area it completely stomps XIV in, is PVP. WoWs netcode is much more responsive, and the combat is snapper due to a shorter GCD. Not to mention PvP over there is more or less continually supported and looked at, as opposed to XIVs approach which is to forget about it completely until new content and then artificially populate the playlist with gimmicks, time limited rewards and systems. Over 100 days playtime, and I still havent ever been able to find a game of Rival Wings lol
