I've been playing FF14 since mid February of this year and havent had crashes hardly ever until I passed the credit sequence of Stormblood and entered the between patch content. It noticeably started happening when I tried picking up the start of the Omega quests. Would either crash with a dx11 error before loading a cutscene, load the cutscene with model errors (i.e. the translucent dragon is just invisible), and/or crash at the end of the cutscene. It also happens when I'm loading into new areas from logging in or teleporting from place to place. Sometimes when I successfully make it into an area with no crashing, visual glitches happen like missing torsos/feet or bald heads on other pcs (not npcs), foilage in new gridania turn completely yellow or black, or in a case of a trial the screen just goes completely yellow saved for my HUD.
Through stubbornness, server swapping, and luck I've gotten all the way to the MSQ "Prelude in Violet", but now I'm just walled. No matter how much I try restarting, restoring, and reinstalling my game, updating and reinstalling my drivers, lowering my graphics to the bare minimum and on dx9... literally everything that the support emails have been advising me to do about three times now.
I'm suspicious of the issue rising from the recent 6.11 patch, because that's about the time I've gotten to the very end game of Stormblood.
I can post my system information and screenshots of some of the visual glitches if needed, but honestly my sub ends tomorrow and I don't think I'll be getting it renewed until it is addressed somehow.
